According to various research organizations, less than 4% of former foster children go on to graduate from institutions of higher learning in the US. Moreover, as foster children transition from one living situation to another, their education becomes significantly disrupted.
With that in mind, FUNdamentals for Foster Care strives to improve and better stabilize the educational experience of foster children by providing them with Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) toys.
