Integrating the Arts into STEM is not a new concept. Remember looking at a flying machine by Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci? He incorporated art into his mechanical designs. 
Physicist Albert Einstein loved playing the piano. He once said, "The greatest scientists are artists as well," meaning, science requires creative thinking.
Companies like Chevron want employees who are well rounded and innovative thinkers. 

STEAM toys prepare at-risk youth, to be competitive and marketable in the workplace.

Whether youth are in waiting rooms for court appointed visitation or in a state of transition without a guardian to keep a watchful eye on him/her these brand new educational tool kits are appropriate developmentally and fit into a backpack that youth can tinker with anywhere they go without adult supervision being required.  This greatly helps fill in out of schooling gaps in their education.
